The ACT test is a college entrance exam used to determine college readiness and may be used to determine eligibility for scholarships.  Check individual college requirements and guidelines for qualifying scores.  Be sure to put the Lutheran High code 281-621 in the high school to have test scores sent to LHNE to be put on the official high school transcript. 

A student photo must be uploaded when registering for the ACT and will be printed on the admission ticket. Student must take the admission ticket and an additional photo ID to the test site on the day of the test.

A reminder to students planning to apply to the University of Nebraska Lincoln or the University of Nebraska Omaha: your test scores must be sent to UNL and UNO directly.  UNL and UNO will not accept ACT scores as listed on your transcript. 

Juniors are advised to take the ACT in the spring of their junior year and in the fall of their senior year.  Wayne State College uses test scores through the October test date for scholarship eligibility.  UNL, UNO, and UNK use test scores through the December test date for scholarship eligibility.

In addition, if you plan to play college sports at a NCAA Division I, II, or III  or NAIA school (check the school's athletic website to find out if it is NCAA or NAIA school), your test score must be sent directly to the appropriate clearinghouse. The clearinghouse will not accept your score from your transcript.  Each clearinghouse is separate and registration and registration fee payment must be made separately if applicable.

To register with the NAIA clearinghouse:  go to . Use the Code  9876 to send ACT test score to NAIA Clearinghouse. Request Mrs. Ageton send a high school transcript at the end of your junior year. (NAIA schools include Concordia Seward, Nebraska Wesleyan, Doane, Morningside among others)
